Lead Game Designer (Match-3 PvP)

Thrillex is an ambitious new mobile game studio focused on creating innovative competitive experiences. We're starting our journey with a unique PvP Match-3 combat game, and we're looking for a passionate Lead Game Designer to help bring this vision to life.

What are you working on?

• The name of the project(s): PvP Match-3
• At what stage of the project(s)? Early stage, Funding secured
• Genres: Casual, Puzzle
• Platforms: Mobile

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

- Design and document core Match-3 combat systems

- Create and balance character abilities and progression systems

- Design competitive systems including matchmaking and ranking

- Work directly with development to ensure technical feasibility

- Create and maintain game economy and monetization systems

- Design tutorial and player onboarding experiences

- Manage development priorities and feature roadmap

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• 5+ years of game design experience

• Shipped at least one Match-3 game

• Experience with competitive/PvP game design

• Strong understanding of F2P mobile game design and monetization

• Experience working directly with developers

•  Experience with live operations

• Project management skills

• Excellent documentation and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage own priorities

• Strong experience with remote work tools and practices

• Experience working in small teams/startups
